Threads to other aspects and catchments are in progress and yet to be  published.  In some cases,  permissions are awaited;  in others, field work is being carried out.  In the meantime, please re-view the Upper Severn report which is indicative of unfolding Attenuation networks and research.

Mapping and analysis is ongoing in  the Guilsfield,  Elwy and Pickering watersheds.  Rivers Hodder,  Parrett,  West Lyn (1952), Istwyth (2012), Boscastle (2004); Ryedale (2005), Cumbria (2009),  Cornwall (2010 & 2012) are also sites of interest.

  • Hydraulic attenuation modelling of landuse for flood alleviation.
  • The linking of Amenity Infrastructure, Flood Alleviation and Sustainable Engineering
  • A generic 2D point cloud for hydraulic mapping of any/all UK catchments
  • Software executable to automate end user evaluation of upstream terrain development (ie high friction app)
